Q. So what made you get started with AdSense?

A. I was looking for a way to monetize some of my websites. AdSense is such an easy thing to get started with the eye for it would be a great way to start earning more money without actually putting into much more effort. I think as soon as you see the first earnings coming into your account you get addicted to AdSense. I know is what happened to me and since then I've just spent time working out how to earn more and more each day.

Q. How much do you make with AdSense?

A. Some days I can earn close to $1000 and others it's less than that. But it all comes down to how much time and effort you devote to creating a quality site that people like visiting. AdSense is not what my business is based on by any means - but it is a great way to earn revenue almost on autopilot.

Q. What is the biggest mistake people making with AdSense?

A. Probably the biggest mistake people make is thinking the AdSense earnings are easy to achieve. It is very easy to get started but as I learned it takes a lot of effort to increase your earnings. I got really downhearted whenever I would log in to my account to see that I had only made a few dollars. And that's when I decided to spend months and months of my time learning everything I could about AdSense.

I basically buried myself away and devoured every single piece of AdSense information I could find. I ran thousands of AdSense tests and started to see a dramatic effect on my click through ratio and therefore on my earnings.

This is why I'd decided to record the videos - because I knew that it would help people who were in my position to also increase their earnings. I've read an absolute ton of AdSense e-book's but they take so long to go through and always seem to keep information back.

With AdSense Videos I knew that I had to tell the story exactly as it is and actually show people and lead them by the hand through the exact techniques that I use to generate large earnings from AdSense.

Q. In your videos you show people how to increase their AdSense earnings - can you give us a taster of this advice?

A. I don't want to give away my biggest secrets as you can understand! But some of the more basic things that you can do to increase your revenues include using ads that blend in rather than stand out from your content. Flat out the worst thing you can do with an AdSense ad is make it look like the standard Google ad. What you need to realise is that you will get more clicks if your ad actually appears part of your site rather than something that's
just been dropped into the page.

I had the privilege to interview a regular guy (not a well-known 'Guru') who claims making more than $200 a day with Google AdSense Program.

That motivated me to keep on with the project of the life that I desired.

--- Do you prefer AdSense over Affiliate Programs promotion? ---

Yes, I prefer Google Adsense over any other affiliate program because it has Google guarantee. Thousands of websites are now applying Adsense to their sites. Not only do you have the Google guarantee, but visitors to your web site may also see it as having the Google "seal of confidence". In a certain way, having Adsense on your site shows visitors that your site has been approved by Google.

Nevertheless, having Adsense on your site doesn´t mean that you can´t have other affiliate programs combined with it. You can actually have as many programs as you want, but I prefer Adsense specially because the conversion rate to money is much faster with Adsense.

No other affiliate program converts clicks to money as fast as Google Adsense.

With Google Adsense I may need just 10 optimized clicks to earn $20. By optimized, I mean clicks on a page that has keywords that pay the most in Adsense. With other affiliate programs I need at least 200 visits to an optimized site with related content and optimized traffic to earn the same amount of money.

--- What is the 'SECRET' formula for bringing quality traffic to your Site? ---

--- How do you go about converting your Site traffic into more Adsense Income? ---

If your Adsense is performing poorly, I have three tips for you:

1. Decrease the number of Adsense blocks that you are displaying on a page. I don't know how others have experienced this, but my income seemed to be less if I had more than one block of Adsense ads displayed at once - and your CTR is definitely less if you have more than one ad impression at a time.

2. Change your link colour to blue. While I cannot disclose my CTR I can tell you that this one little change more than doubled my CTR. I know that there are others out there who advocate that your link colour should be the same as the other links on your site, but try it out for yourself for a day or two. I think you will be highly surprised!

3. Set the URL colour to the same colour as the ad's text. This makes the URL ''melt" in and makes the link colour stand out more, definitely making it more "clickable".

Getting Started With Adsense

A very important element in the rapid adoption of AdSense is that it has been very easy for publishers to get the ads on their site as quickly as possible.

Integrating AdSense in your website takes only a few minutes, and you can be on your way with one or more nicely integrated AdSense ads.

The first thing you need to do is navigate to This Site and either apply or log in with your existing account and password. What follows is a page presenting the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions which you must agree to in order to proceed.

You are presented with a report page which you can use to get a detailed status on how your AdSense advertising is doing. This allows you to improve your site's contents and layout to maximize your AdSense earnings.

On the top of your page you also have link to the setup section where you can generate the code that will need to be pasted on your website in order to have AdSense banners on your page.

You can use AdSense for text (the said ads), using a search box or with referrals. Your choice among these options depends on how users will navigate your site.

Finally, there is a "My Account" tab which allows you to set up details concerning your account, payment and tax information.

To add a text ad on your site, go back to the "AdSense Setup" tab and click the "AdSense for content" link. Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.

You can make a choice between ad units and link units. The former contain text and or images concerning a certain site for each unit, most with a detailed description, the latter only contain links to certain types.

Of course, it's a bit hard to know which type you should use so you should probably experiment with both for a while before you decide.

You can also view an example of how the unit will look to the right of your page. However, you may only use three ad units and one link unit on any given page. This is believed to be a step which Google takes for quality control.

The next step is to choose your add format and colors. You can basically select any color palette you choose with Google offering some of its own if you don't have the time or skill to create one.

You can constantly view how the palette will look through the aid of an example. The one that works best in terms of appearance and revenues will vary with the look, feel and content of a website.

However, your ad formats are limited to a choice of eleven formats. There's an "Ad Formats" link which takes you to a page that lets you see all even of these in action so you can decide best which one suits your site. Sometimes the most intrusive, doesn't work best however again, this can vary from website to website.

After you finish with customization, you can click "Continue" from the bottom of the page.

You are now presented with a section entitled "AdSense for Content". You can click anywhere in the text and that shows the JavaScript required to get AdSense running. This will automatically select the text in the box.

You can then copy it and paste it into your pages directly. If you use dynamic pages, you should paste this code within your template so as to ensure that it gets displayed on any page of your website.

Some advertisers choose not to display Adsense on every page, and this is understandable. An example of this is a company that has adsense, may also have terms and condition which would inevitably provide legal resources which would probably be deemed inappropriate.

What is then left for you to do is get content on your page (provided you didn't have any already). Google AdSense crawlers will soon visit your site, making sure that the ads displayed are relevant to your site's content.

And you're all done. For a simple page this should indeed be a matter of a few minutes, which is precisely what makes AdSense the choice for so many. Although it is quick, its mass appeal also makes it the best. Through being the most popular, advertisers and publishers alike see Adsense and Adwords as their natural first choice.

How To Make Cash With AdSense - The Two Opposing AdSense Strategies

There are two main Adsense strategies (well, three... but I'll get into that in a minute). I will discuss the pros and cons of both of them and tell you exactly what I choose to do!

First Strategy: Churn and Burn

Basically, "churn and burn" means churning out (creating) as many web sites as possible, as quickly as possible.

People who take this approach don't look back. They create a web site, or multiple web sites, every day. Once the site is up, they move onto the next one. They also usually don't look for link partners, submit articles, or "waste time" promoting their site at all.

The only promoting they do is "blog and ping" to get their sites indexed quickly.

They also use a lot of automation. They try to do as little by hand as possible. A program like Traffic Equalizer or Directory Generator usually creates the content on their web site.

They also use the same template for all their web sites.

Pros: It's quick and doesn't take a lot of work. If one of their sites get de-indexed, they still make money from their other sites. The more sites you create, the more money you make.

Cons: The sites don't last long in the search engines. They have to host a lot of web sites. These sites aren't useful to the end user.

Second Strategy: Focusing on a few sites

This strategy consists of only having a few web sites and focusing all your energy on them.

The content is created by hand. They also might add a lot of features to their web sites such as a message board, blog, newsletter, and more.

People who use this method usually advertise their web sites in their forum signatures, submitting articles, seeking out link partner, etc.

Pros: The sites are useful and serve a purpose. They last a lot longer in the search engines. They only have to pay to host a few sites.

Cons: It takes a lot of work. All your eggs are in one basket. If for some reason your site gets de-indexed, you lose a lot of money.

My Strategy: The Hybrid!

Most people choose one of the two methods above. Both are fine for a lot of people but they have their pros and cons (as you can see above).

The method I use takes the pros from both of them and eliminates the cons. I call it the hybrid method for that reason.

Instead of creating multiple sites every day, it might take me as long as a week to create a single site. But after you get used to it, you can create multiple sites per week.

It takes longer because I want to make sure my sites look good and are useful to the end user.

This eliminates the "all your eggs in one basket" problem of only having a few sites. And taking the time to create a good web site eliminates the problem of being de-indexed quickly.

The content can be a mix of Traffic Equalizer or Directory Generator content, as well as articles and RSS feeds. If you use these programs you have to make sure you edit the templates they come with. You don't want your web sites to look like everyone else's Traffic Equalizer sites, for example.

To make your sites useful, you should consider adding a message board and capture email addresses for a monthly newsletter. And adding a blog is a feature that your visitors may find useful and will also help you get indexed faster in the search engines.

You should try to automate as much as possible. Instead of creating articles by hand, pay someone else to do it. You can also get free articles from sites like EzineArticles.com, ArticleMarketer.com, ArticleCity.com and many more.

I also take the time to promote my Adsense sites.

Using my software, I look for ONE WAY link partners as well as submitting articles to other sites.

This will ensure that your sites last a long . . . longer time in the search engines!

This method takes a little more work and it's worth it in the long run.

Trading a an extra hour of work to ensure your site stays in the search engines six months longer, means you'll make a lot more money in the long run!
